Some of our proud accomplishments!Ft. Stewart, GA - In 1996, we provided splicing, bi-directional testing, and terminations, plowed and trenched 50 miles of fiber optic cable, placing standard 38Y manholes, installing conduits and fiber optic cabling in 140 buildings. Remote areas required directional boring under rivers and wetlands. Extensive coordination was handled to meet deadlines while doing extensive splicing, terminations, bi-directional testing and documentation in DCO. Priority buildings were activated promptly as not to hamper the mobilization of soldiers or deny access to the LAN for all areas of support. PNI is presently under contract to upgrade the base under the I3MP contract. Fort Gillem, GA - PNI is 75% complete on a contract to furnish, install, test and cutover an I3MP complete upgrade implementation at Fort Gillem. The upgrade is a single effort for PNI encompassing Outside Plant, Outside Rehabilitation, Data, Voice, Inside Plant, and Electrical Circuits. The effort also includes building a new 40’x 80’ operational DCO. Fort Dix, NJ - Inside plant work, electrical work for 130 buildings, networking and cutover for approximately 3500 users. Fort Lee, VA - Underground installation of outside plant copper and single mode fiber cable. Placing of new manholes and building entries. Installation of new dedicated electrical circuits with disconnect switches and surge suppressors for new and existing data equipment. Installation of new voice and data wiring centers. Installation, fusion splicing, termination and testing of new fiber optic and copper cables. Involves approximately 100 wiring centers. Fort McPherson, GA - Underground installation of outside plant copper and single mode fiber cable. Placing of new manholes and building entries. Installation of new dedicated electrical circuits with disconnect switches and surge suppressors for new and existing data equipment. Installation of new voice and data wiring centers. Installation, termination and testing of new fiber optic and copper cables for building POP extensions. Involved approximately 85 wiring centers. Fort Benning, GA - Installation of new dedicated electrical circuits with disconnect switches and hardwired surge suppressors for data equipment. Installation of new voice and data wiring centers with new data switches. Installation, termination and testing of new fiber optic and copper cables for building POP extensions. Included approximately 285 wiring center locations. Fort Bragg, NC - Plowed 16 miles of Fiber Optic cable connecting several Secured Top Secret Sites, we installed a 1 miles duct system and installed a 16” Casing Bore beneath a Rail Road Bed. Dugway Proving Ground, Utah - Installed a 2 mile duct system and placed 4 miles of fiber, copper and coax cables. Nuclear Submarine Facility at Norfolk Naval Shipyard, VA - Installed 16,000 feet of 3” IMC threaded, galvanized conduit 80 feet high on specially designed brackets throughout the shipyard providing the first fiber connectivity to the Nuclear Submarines while in port. During the project 150-4 inch core bores were made and over 4000 feet of schedule 80 PVC placed. Hunter Army Air Field, GA - 24, 48, 96, and 144-strand fiber optic cable in 47 buildings was installed. Splicing, terminations, bi-directional testing and documentation were performed. Petersburg, VA to South Hill, VA - Completed plowing and directional boring of 60 miles of 12-way innerduct, 42 inches deep. NASA at Wallops Island, VA - Installed a Complete Concrete Encased Manhole System Infrastructure and performed a complete remodeling of the DCO. The remodeling job included placing a cable vault just outside the DCO, cutting through the outside wall and several inside walls, saw cutting the concrete floor, digging approximately 100 feet of trench inside the building, formed, poured and placed concrete trough with specially designed hinged metal plate cover for ease of cable installation. Removed and replaced the air conditioning system, lighting system, sheet rock walls, doors, concrete, painted walls and replaced carpet. Fort Drum, NY - Underground installation of outside plant copper and single mode fiber cable. Placing of new manholes and building entries. Installation of new dedicated electrical circuits with disconnect switches for data equipment. Installation of new voice and data wiring centers. Installation, termination and testing of new fiber optic and copper cables for building POP extensions. Minot AFB, ND (CITS Project) - Installation, termination and testing of new fiber optic cables for building POP extensions. Installed UPS systems as well as network hardware in new and existing wiring centers in over sixty buildings. Yuma Proving Grounds, AZ (BOA) - A five year “Basic Ordering Agreement” exist for purchasing cabling materials and outside plant services. Tyndall AFB, FL (CITS Project) - Installation of new data wiring centers as well as modification of existing wiring closets in over one hundred twenty buildings. Installation, termination and testing of new fiber optic cables for building POP extensions. Installed UPS systems as well as network hardware in new and existing wiring centers. Installed category 5 jumpers to connect old equipment closets to new equipment locations. Troubleshot, repaired and labeled existing fiber optic cables to support new network infrastructure and hardware. Cutover end users to new network. Assisted base personnel with critical building live cutovers. Fort Monmouth, NJ - Termination and testing of new single mode fiber optic cable. Repair, testing and certification of base-wide existing multimode and single mode fiber cables. Washington, DC - The Washington Monument and Jefferson Memorial, FDR, Lincoln, Korean, and Vietnam Memorials. Similar work as above but for security reasons, we cannot currently describe the details of the work performed. |
