Network Design and Engineering

Part of the Premise Networks turn key service offering is the ability to provide a network design and implement that design down to the equipment configuration level. PNI has manufacturer trained and certified network engineers with experience in standing up large, sophisticated networks with hundreds of facilities and thousands of users. These engineers will be responsible for assembling, configuring, installing and testing the network equipment and will coordinate the cutover during the burn-in period of the project. Should the project warrant, a staging lab may be setup to verify all configurations and connectivity before the equipment is deployed to its final location. Once the network is fully deployed, a series of tests will be run to ensure the network is functioning properly and to its maximum potential before users are brought online.

The network engineering team is responsible for the creation and implementation of the end user cutover schedule. In cases where a legacy network is being replaced, all mission critical facilities are identified during the development of the cutover schedule. These facilities are scheduled for cutover with a high degree of coordination with the end users to ensure minimum downtime. The final schedule is reviewed and accepted by all parties involved in the cutover. Once the cutover is started, every effort is made to adhere exactly to the schedule

The PNI networking team has successfully cutover hundreds of facilities and thousands of end users.
